Studio Brief 01 - Time management - Type in context

Routine

The biggest obstacle sometimes is getting into a routine, I've found this essential to my productivity. Theres a lot of different factors for creating

1. Environment

I find that putting yourself in the appropriate environment can do a lot for your work and mindset. To concentrate putting myself into a more quiet environment does a lot for my creativity as well. A clean space keeps a clear mind.

2. Sleep

Not staying up all hours finishing blog posts or creating something in photoshop might seem like a bad thing but having a good sleep routine is probably one of the most important things when creating something, or just doing anything really.

3. Timetable

Making a small personal timetable for the week is great for keeping balance, giving the opportunity you restrictions for overworking or under working.

I don't put too much onto the timetable, just the important tasks that need to be done. As that can make it seem overwhelming but I think its important to write things down as it makes a lot to do look more achievable and easier to tackle. Its good to also tick things off when you've done them which adds a sense of achievement.

In summary:

Trying new ways of staying focused, motivated and productive is something that's always going to change and I'm trying to improve on and find better ways to work.
