Papyrus’ is a charity which works to prevent and bring awareness to
suicide amongst young men and women, their brief for this particular piece of
work was to create an effective piece of work as part of their collection
colouring pages hoping to create a positive impact with the different results.
I wanted to choose this particular brief as it dealt with a sensitive issue
which I didn’t know much about, I wanted to increase my understanding of the
topic through research and also explore what makes people calm, the
subjectivity of what individuals find calming was interesting to hear, it was
informative within the brief development but also within my own interest of
asking more questions, the results were all quite varied but with a similar
tone. Natural visuals were the basis of the research from previous feedback.
The outcome conveys each aspect of the considerations within developments and is an effective outcome within its intention and delivery.
