Movember

Various campaigns for the Movember campaign

The photography of these images is immediately recognisable with the physical action presented. Although the tone of the work is lighthearted there is also a level of serious
e of men uses imagery very well in promoting sports and quite casual font and colours, its an approachable campaign and still remains informative.

In the presentation of a challenge which aims to physically engages the audience in the imagery with activity it also presents an option to  'move or mo' as the tag line of the campaign, possibly adding to the lighthearted nature of giving choice rather than demanding which could be unapproachable.

Movemeber is a Charity campaign that's specifically been created to raise money for men's health charities. As the popularity has grown there has been a lot more imagery in response to the issue.

An image that has humour but also balances an issue. The use of a popular figure is intriguing to someone viewing it, making it something that stands out and also memorable in what its trying to say.

It provokes positive change in using a popular figure and also resinates with men in the imagery. There is a lighthearted tone which is something that makes a campaign effect if done well.

The concept itself is simple but the message is loud and works effectively as a whole.

British Heart Foundation

Another health campaign that uses humour to address its issues. Like the previous one there is a comedic tone to the work making it much more memorable.

There is a tone of seriousness but its balanced in a way that makes it friendly and approachable with the imagery that goes with it.

Dry January

Although a popular campaign as of recently, from observation there has been nothing prominent within social media or other such platforms.

From what I have seen there is a dedicated website to the campaign itself. On looking at their online presence the tone of voice is very causal, which might be in order to seem appealing to the intended audience.

Not much challenge is presented to the audience with much motive. The casual nature seems to have a bit too laid back nature, possibly a better balance could of been achieved. There isn't really anything that stands out within the images in the promotion of the campaign where something much bolder in design  could of been used in the type and colour scheme.

This image for the campaign presents a challenge to the viewer but there isn't much emotion to it or enthusiasm, making it easily ignorable.
