Inspiration/ research
These were some projects which we found interesting and informative towards creating some ideas around our concept.
SNASK - Malmo festival
This work was created for the Malmo festival, which is known as being "a warm friendly and sustainable festival" which takes place right in the heart of the city , the festival showcases art, music and culture and celebration of diversity. There other work with 'rebranding' North Korea is what first brought this design team to our attention initially.
This 3d work was incredibly eye catching with the use of colours which have been informed by the friendliness and lightheartedness that the festival represents, the nature of the and the way the type has been presented with the layout also creates a sense of excitement the The format of it being used with 3d creates an engaging outcome to those who view it as the whole message can be seen at once from a birds eye view but those who aren't see the lettering one by one meaning theres an engagement to the work in the desire to explore the lettering more and see the letterings message.
In terms of the group practice this piece is valid to take into consideration the techniques used in creating an engaging touchpoint which can inform ideas and production of this concept.
Other visual inspirations:

| Lettering put onto a platform instead of being laid down, giving the type a better visual platform and legibility of the message. |

Another example of type being interacted with, the lettering not being a message but focusing on individual letter forms.

Mock up
Mock up in context
To estimate the scale and location, the location being in the centre of leeds in a busy areas, there was the consideration of exploring the idea of putting this type in busy business and professional locations in order to better illustrate a professional/ business target audience.
With more consideration of time, as a group we would of liked to create something in this manner. The concept of this was created in the hopes of engaging an audience with a positive message.
