Studio brief 01 - Responsive - Papyrus student brief TBWA - Brief considerations

As a charity Papyrus focuses on the prevention of suicide amongst young people. They feel strongly in speaking of the issues is a positive factor in tackling negative thoughts. 

The idea of a colouring book is to relieve everyday stress in an accessible platform. Colouring has proven to be an efficient way of dealing with stress. The aim of the project is allowing those to unwind and relax with colouring, creating a collection of images 'The art of the peaceful mind'

Requirements 

Being aware of the different requirements needed to fulfil this brief. 
  • Be as forward or abstract as desired.
  • A3 landscape format
  • Small paragraph explaining rationale behind the design
Some initial ideas

What do I find calming and how can that inform idea?

Scenery 

I think scenery could be effective as subject matter, there is potential for a lot of detail which could be quite immersive also there are a variety of colours which can be used which could also be an effective factor.

  • Water 
  • Sunsets
  • Forests 
Through feedback and research and visual exploration more ideas can be generated.
